Sis, welcome to the 31-Day Proverbs Challenge! As we begin this year, make a commitment to yourself to come back every day, read the proverb for the day, and take time to meditate and reflect on it. Day 1: The Beginning of Knowledge

Proverbs 1:7 – "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction."

Reflection: The foundation of wisdom begins with a deep reverence for God. As we start this year, let’s make sure that our desire for wisdom is rooted in a healthy fear of the Lord. Consider where you may need to grow in this area and ask God for the wisdom to guide your decisions.



Day 2: Wisdom Protects You

Proverbs 2:10-11 – "For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you."

Reflection: Wisdom is not just about knowing facts, but about living a life that is protected by understanding. Today, reflect on the areas where you need wisdom for protection—whether it’s in your relationships, career, or personal choices.


Day 3: Trust in the Lord

Proverbs 3:5-6 – "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."

Reflection: Trusting God with all our heart means letting go of our own understanding and submitting to His will. Today, ask God to help you trust Him more fully, especially in areas where you might feel uncertain.

Proverbs 4:7 – "The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding."

Proverbs 9:9 – "Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning."

Reflection: Wisdom grows when we stay open to learning. Reflect today on areas where you can remain teachable and open to advice from others, especially from those who have walked the path you’re on.


Day 10: Righteousness Endures

Proverbs 10:25 – "When the storm has swept by, the wicked are gone, but the righteous stand firm forever."

Reflection: Life’s challenges can shake us, but righteousness provides a foundation that endures. Consider how you can stand firm in your faith, even in tough times, knowing that righteousness will hold you steady.


Day 11: Words Have Power

Proverbs 11:12 – "Whoever derides their neighbor has no sense, but the one who has understanding holds their tongue."

Reflection: Your words can build up or tear down. Today, reflect on how you use your words and commit to speaking with understanding and kindness. What can you say to encourage someone today?


Day 12: Live Righteously

Proverbs 12:28 – "In the way of righteousness there is life; along that path is immortality."

Proverbs 17:27 – "The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint, and whoever has understanding is even-tempered."

Reflection: Self-control is a mark of wisdom. Reflect on areas in your life where you can practice more self-control—whether in your speech, emotions, or habits. Ask God to help you remain steady and wise in your responses.


Day 18: God is Our Refuge

Proverbs 18:10 – "The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe."

Reflection: No matter what challenges you face today, God is your safe place. Reflect on the protection God offers and take time to run to Him in prayer, trusting in His safety and provision.

Proverbs 19:17 – "Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done."

Day 20: Live with Integrity

Proverbs 20:11 – "Even small children are known by their actions, so is their conduct really pure and upright?"

Reflection: Integrity is shown in your actions, no matter your age. Reflect on how you can live with integrity today, ensuring that your actions align with your words and values.


Day 21: Seek Justice

Proverbs 21:3 – "To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice."

Day 22: Humility Leads to Wisdom

Proverbs 22:4 – "Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches and honor and life."

Proverbs 23:7 – "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he."

Day 24: Don’t Envy Others

Day 25: Practice Self-Control

Day 26: Guard Your Words

Proverbs 26:20 – "Without wood a fire goes out; without a gossip a quarrel dies down."

Reflection: Gossip and harmful words can escalate conflict. Reflect today on how you can guard your speech, choosing words that bring peace rather than division.


Day 27: Work Hard with Purpose

Proverbs 27:23 – "Be sure you know the condition of your flocks, give careful attention to your herds."

Proverbs 31:25 – "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come."

Reflection: A woman who lives with purpose, strength, and dignity can face the future with confidence. Reflect on how you can embrace each day with wisdom and strength, walking with dignity into the new opportunities this year holds.
