El Roi sees you. You may have journeyed a portion of your life alone, physically, mentally, and emotionally, and may have also believed that spiritually, you don’t feel God. I’ve been there, where I felt utterly alone in every aspect of life. I questioned whether God loved me and wondered if He cared that I experienced so many difficulties alone; I felt alone. It wasn’t until I looked to the Word that I began to know El Roi, the God who sees me.
Jesus came to show us the character of God the Father, and that is that He is love and He cares. It’s not that God shows love, but His nature is love. He is love, that is who He is and with unconditional love, He sees you, me, and everyone. God is love. His love journeyed Jesus to Bethesda where many were sick, blind, lame, paralysed. Among those people, Jesus saw a certain man who had an infirmity of 37 years and asked him “Do you want to be made well”. There were many more people there but Jesus was sent there for Him. God saw Him.
It's easy to give up hope and feel like you’re journeying this life by yourself, but the truth is, El Roi not only sees you, He has chosen you. Before dying for you, He chose you. And He continues to choose you. You are His. He loves and cares for your every need. You’re not journeying this life alone. So, let your guard down, sister, and trust that God is with you and for you. You can rely on Him. You haven’t been forgotten. He has a plan and purpose for you. One that will blow your mind.
Remember that El Roi sees you. El Roi, the God who sees me, allowed me to see His help through others within my life. He gave me a magnifying glass and revealed the community I had of sisters who not only see me but want to journey life with me. He sees you too

I walked this earth believing I had to do life alone.
Then I met you alone in this deserted place in my heart,
You saw me broke and knew that that wasn’t so.
I was created in your image,
but the mirror was distorted; therefore, the reflection was false.
You see the brokenness and the beauty
You validate that I am made
Beautifully & wonderfully
You didn’t leave
But I failed to see that
You are right, and were always here
